Everyday 60 New Zealanders will hear the words “You have cancer”

Cancer Society of New Zealand, Otago and Southland Division

Welcome to the Otago and Southland Division of the Cancer Society of New Zealand.

If you or someone you care about has cancer, if you want to help provide support, or reduce your own risk of cancer  – you have come to the right place.

The Cancer Society understands how a cancer diagnosis can affect every aspect of your life and how it can also affect your family / whanau, friends and others around you.

Our commitment is to help you through.

We can help you get to your medical appointments and we can provide accommodation during your treatment at Dunedin Hospital if you live some distance away. Our Professional Health Care staff are ready to support you during your treatment and answer any questions you have, whatever they may be.

And if you want to talk – we are here to listen.

Receiving a cancer diagnosis and going through treatment is never easy. Everyone needs some support and we are here to offer the help you need.
