This Sunday 26th August, all across New Zealand, hundreds of vehicles will be on the road, or on display, at the same time to raise money for the local Cancer Society including in Otago and Southland
The Vintage Car Club fosters an interest in and engages in the preservation, maintenance and use of Motor vehicles over 30 years old. Vintage Car Club Otago Secretary, Marion McConachie, has been part of the group for 18 years and says she is looking forward to this years Daffodil Day rally “Most of our members will have had family members affected by Cancer at some point. We see this as a worthy cause to support, at the same time being able to promote our club. Where members are able to show the public a positive side to motoring by being able to use our historic vehicles.”
The Vintage Car Club have been a great support to the Cancer Society Otago Southland holding fundraisers and helping with the delivery of daffodils for Daffodil Day. The rally welcomes all members of the public and there will be a $10 donation fee.

Dunedin: Assemble at Car Park (entrance via Moana Rua Road) of Victoria Road, Dunedin for a short tour south Dunedin along the Brighton-Taieri Coast.
